Why We Say Which Brands Are Actually Here
Most brand lists on flooring websites are logo walls — every mill the buying group has a contract with, whether or not a single sample has ever been in the building. We would rather tell you the truth: some of these lines are on the floor as displays, some are on the racks as cut stock, and some are a phone call and one to three weeks away.
The individual brand pages say which. When we publish stock from the inventory system our sales team uses, the carpet pages also show a live count of pieces physically in the building.
If a mill you want is not listed, ask. Membership means we can usually get it; we just do not list what we have never sold.

Why does a family showroom carry so many brands?
Because we buy as a member of Abbey Carpet & Floor, a national group of independent flooring stores. Membership gives a single-location showroom the purchasing scale of a chain — and access to five exclusive lines that are not sold at big-box stores or online.
Is everything listed here physically in the showroom?
No, and we would rather say so than pretend. Some lines are on the floor as displays, some are on the racks as cut stock, and some are ordered from the mill in one to three weeks. The individual brand pages say which, and when we publish stock from our inventory system the carpet pages show a live count of what is physically in the building.
Can I take samples home?
Yes, free. Flooring changes colour completely under your own lighting, and a sample at 7pm in your hallway settles more arguments than any showroom light can.
Do you install what you sell?
Yes, with our own crews rather than subcontractors, across Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Counties. And because we also clean, restore and refinish floors, the family that sold you the floor is the one that looks after it.
