The short version: Stanton is the mill for carpet that is part of the design, not just the floor. Patterned broadloom, woven looks, wool and sisal, and constructions built to be cut into rugs and runners. The big mills do plush solids better and cheaper; Stanton does pattern and texture better than anyone.
That is why two Stanton displays earn floor space in a family showroom. A patterned Stanton stair runner is the single most-requested custom job we do, and the Naturals line is where people go when they want a room to feel like something rather than just be carpeted.
Custom work is measured in person. Runner width, pattern repeat and where the pattern lands on each tread are decided before a single cut is made.
